Robert Wagner has more than 15 years of experience as a patent attorney. Robert has extensive experience in several areas of patent practice, including patent preparation and prosecution, patent litigation, client counseling and opinion work on issues of infringement and validity, and patent due diligence and portfolio analysis. Previously, Robert was a senior associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, where Robert’s patent practice provided extensive experience and expertise in opinion work related to multi-party patent licensing programs (also referred to as patent pools).

 

Robert’s work has provided significant experience and expertise in numerous technical fields, including computer hardware and software architecture, GPU architecture and 3D computer graphics systems, consumer electronics and automotive systems, video and audio coding/decoding technologies, wireless and other communications technologies, circuit design and power system technologies, video teleconferencing, HDTV technologies, optical disc technologies, smartphone technologies, computer networking and architecture, and other diverse fields of technology, including fiber optics and other optical technologies, Digital Rights Management, computer printers, and auto alarm systems.

While attending MIT, Robert focused his studies and thesis-related work in the areas of particle astrophysics and nuclear physics at several institutions, including MIT, the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and Princeton University. Robert was named an Otto Morningstar Fellow for outstanding physics major. While attending the Columbia University School of Law, Robert was a Jerome Greene Fellow, Governor Robert Meyner Scholar and an editor for the Columbia-VLA Journal of Law & The Arts.
